Darke Rural Electric Cooperative (DREC) is pleased to provide its Kitchel Community Room to serve the operations, training and internal services of DREC. Following employee needs for the community room, consistent with DREC’s mission, the use of the community room will be to serve our members and support the communities we serve. For example, the community room may be used for meetings of nonprofit-based groups devoted to agricultural, business, professional, community, and civic activities that serve or provide a benefit to the community supported by DREC.
The community room will be limited to groups of 60 people maximum and only 56 chairs and 10 tables can be provided. Authority to schedule use of the Kitchel Community Room is vested with the executive staff of DREC. A $150 returnable deposit will be required from ALL renters of the community room and a $25 cleaning fee will be charged for all meetings that serve food.
